Power of Love Resource Group is a Christian-based nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals and families in crisis by providing essential resources and compassionate support. Through our Food Assistance Program, we offer nutritious meals to those facing food insecurity, while our Clothing Assistance Program ensures individuals have access to seasonal wear and professional attire.
We also empower women through support services that help them overcome abuse and economic hardship, and we provide specialized programs for teen moms, equipping them with parenting skills and essential baby supplies. More than just meeting basic needs, Power of Love Resource Group is committed to restoring dignity, fostering hope, and sharing God’s love with our community.
Our mission is to create a meaningful impact through these programs:
- Food Assistance Program: Expansion of food distribution efforts, ensuring nutritious meals for families in crisis.
- Clothing Assistance Program: Providing free clothing, including seasonal wear and professional attire for job seekers.
- Women’s Empowerment and Support Services: Classes and resources to help women break the cycle of abuse and economic hardship.
- Teen Moms and Pregnant Teen Support Program: Parenting workshops, childcare resources, and access to essential baby supplies.
- Faith-Based Counseling and Support: Offering spiritual guidance and community support to those in need.

Why This Mission Matters to Me?
This mission is deeply personal to me because I am committed to serving our community and creating a more compassionate environment. My passion for this work comes from my own life experiences, which have shaped the areas I now serve.
I had my first child as a teen, which is why I am dedicated to supporting and educating teen moms, helping them move forward and learn from their past. As a domestic violence survivor, I want to empower women to find the strength and resources they need to break free and rebuild their lives. I have also experienced the harsh realities of food insecurity firsthand, having lived in a homeless shelter. I know what it feels like to wonder where the next meal will come from, and I am determined to ensure that no one in our community has to face that struggle alone.
Despite these challenges, through my family’s support and God’s love, I persevered and built a successful career with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world. My journey has strengthened my commitment to helping others overcome adversity and find hope. At Power of Love Resource Group, our work is about more than just providing food—it’s about restoring dignity, offering support, and reminding people that they are not forgotten.
