Our Mission:
Power of Love Resource Group is a Christ-centered nonprofit ministry called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. We serve families in crisis through food, clothing, essential resources and compassionate outreach. We empower women, support teen mothers, and offer faith-based mentorship to foster hope, healing, and lasting change. Through street outreach, community partnerships, and spiritual uplifting, we strive to meet both physical and emotional needs, uplifting the most vulnerable with dignity, love, and respect. Rooted in grace and guided by the Holy Spirit, we walk alongside the broken, believing in restoration, redemption, and the power of God to transform lives.
Our goal is to create a meaningful impact through these programs:
- Sky Grace Food Pantry: Food distribution efforts, ensuring nutritious meals for families in crisis.
- Renewed and Restored – Clothing Mission: Providing free clothing, including seasonal wear and professional attire to people in poverty.
- Women’s Empowerment and Support Services: Classes and resources to help women break the cycle of abuse and economic hardship.
- Cherished Journey – Teen Mom Support Program: Parenting workshops, childcare resources, and access to essential baby supplies.
- Faith-Based Mentorship and Support: Offering spiritual guidance and community support to those in need.
Creating A More Compassionate Environment – That’s The Power of Love
Why This Mission Matters to Me?
This mission is deeply personal to me because I am committed to serving our community and creating a more compassionate environment. My passion for this work comes from my own life experiences, which have shaped the areas I now serve.
I had my first child as a teen, which is why I am dedicated to supporting and educating teen moms, helping them move forward and learn from their past. As a domestic violence survivor of my first marriage, I want to empower women to find the strength and resources they need to break free and rebuild their lives. I have personally experienced the harsh realities of food insecurity. I know what it feels like to struggle just to make ends meet and put food on the table, and I am determined to ensure that no one in our community has to face that struggle alone.
Despite these challenges, through my family’s support and God’s love, I persevered and built a successful career with over 20 years of experience in the corporate world. My journey has strengthened my commitment to helping others overcome adversity and find hope. At Power of Love Resource Group, our work is about more than just providing food—it’s about restoring dignity, offering support, and reminding people that they are not forgotten.
